Barbedienne Banister

This elegant and intricate staircase railing is the focal point of the room, with all its individual components, the pine cones and needles were made first and then applied to the railing, building from the ground up. Using the torch requires a special skill. The large cones were made by forging  individual petals and then welded them in layers,  this was achieved through countless hours of backbreaking effort.
