Lush tropical atmosphere of L’Oasis is brought out by the stylized croton leaves, which were individually casted, the flowers between the leaves were shaped on a bigorne, a silversmiths tool made of a horn and hard woods. This monumental tool, used with a hammer, allows the smith to crimp and shape from the front, in a method different from repousee.
