Presenting our luxury renovation project located in Mississauga, Ontario. Through use of oversized mirrors, the staircase area creates a beautiful illusion of space. The design showcases two storey bronze mirrors, black lacquered panels, and oversized light ebony wood paneling to elevate the height of the space.
The metal staircase is the signature piece, showcasing a solid zebra wood handrail in a piano finish. The columns, spheres, and prisms were hand veneered using a variety of techniques passed down through generations of craftsman. The metalwork is created using metal casting, a process in which a liquid metal is delivered into a mould that contains a negative impression of the intended shape. The metal is poured into the mould through a hollow channel called a sprue. The metal and mould are then cooled, and the metal part is extracted. Through this process, we are able to achieve an extraordinary level of detail.
